Delivery

Toppers ordered before 2pm are posted the same day.  Custom Designs where a draft is requested are also posted the same day once approved before 2pm.  If approval is after 2pm then they are posted next day.

We use An Post to send out all our toppers, so it will come with your postman.

Toppers usually arrive the next working day from the day it is posted but you do need to allow 1-2 working daysPostal delays do occur so please plan ahead and order accordinglyPost may vary also during, pandemics, bad weather conditions, postal strikes and holiday times of the year. We cannot take responsibility for toppers delayed in the post. 

Toppers have a 6 month shelf life so can be ordered in plenty of time. We recommend ordering your topper early the week before you need it, allowing 5-10 working days, where if there is any error or delay, there is time to send a replacement. 

If you order on short notice, the week that you need the topper we cannot be held responsible if a delay happens and you may not be intitled to a refund. 

We do not hold orders to post closer to a date the topper is required. PLEASE NOTE: The date the topper is required is only used if we are very busy and need to prioritse orders, but they are generally posted the same day or the next day. 

We give plenty of notice when and will have a notice on the home page of the website when we are AWAY ON HOLIDAYS as toppers are not processed until we return, so please check to ensure you are aware of when we are away. 

Toppers are posted in an A4 DO NOT BEND hardback envelope.

There is NO POST in Ireland at weekends or Bank Holidays, so toppers ordered after 2pm on a Friday are not processed and posted until Monday or Tuesday if Monday is a bank holiday.

During annual busy periods such as Christmas/New Year once the item is posted either the same day or the next working day, we will not accept responsibility for postal delays. It is up to you the customer to understand there may be delays and to allow extra time for postage during these periods. We do not refund for toppers that are delayed in the post.

If you place an order for a topper on Thursdays we cannot guarantee that it will arrive for the weekend. You are taking the risk and 99% of the time they do arrive, we do not give refunds if it does not arrive on time, as we do recommend allowing at least the minimum of 1-2 working days for delivery.

Caketop.ie is an online-based store based in Ireland. WE DO NOT HAVE A COLLECTION POINT AND ALL ORDERS ARE POSTED OUT.

WE OFFER THE OPTION ON CHECKOUT FOR TRACKED AND REGISTERED(EXPRESS) POST AT AN EXTRA CHARGE.

TRACKED OR REGISTERD (EXPRESS) POST DOES NORMALLY ARRIVE THE NEXT DAY, HOWEVER IT IS NOT GUARANTEED AND IT CAN STILL TAKE 1-2 WORKING DAYS. 

With Tracked or Registered options, if ordered before 2pm it is posted out the same day but after 2pm it is posted the next working day

AN POST IS CLOSED ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY, SO TRACKED AND REGISTERED (EXPRESS) ORDERED AFTER 2PM ON THURSDAY WILL NOT ARRIVE UNTIL THE FOLLOWING MONDAY. 

 

Ensure the delivery address is correct on check out, we do not hold any personal information re addresses, card details or numbers, following GDPR.
It is the customers responsibility to ensure delivery addresses are correct.
 

 

UK & INTERNATIONAL POSTAGE:  We offer Standard Post, Tracked Post or Registered post to the UK, and Tracked worldwide shipping to the rest of the world. 

Delivery time outside Ireland is generally 7-14 Working Days. But please allow time for any delays, there have been longer delays due to Brexit and COVID19 

For international customers please ensure you provide your full phone number including country code and provide a full address.

Returns| Cancellations

Please be advised to check all details entered when ordering, including spellings, quantities, and details, as we cannot take responsibility for errors made on your behalf. We print exactly what you submit

At Caketop.ie we are confident that you will be happy with the quality of your topper. Unfortunately, due to food hygiene regulations, we cannot accept returns, for any toppers ordered in error, change of mind,  not received in time.

 We process orders very quickly, generally the same day or next day. Orders for Toppers cannot be cancelled once they have been processed.

If you decide you need to cancel your order, contact us as soon as possible after placing your order. If your order has already been printed, unfortunately, we are unable to cancel your order or provide a refund. However, if your image has not yet been printed, we may be able to complete your request – but this cannot be guaranteed.

Toppers can only be refunded if they are damaged in the post or sent with the wrong wording or design, that we have incorrectly printed, if this is the case, please send us a photograph of the error and a replacement will then be posted out or a refund is given if there is no time to send a replacement.

If a topper is returned to us in the post due to an “insufficient or incomplete address” we cannot provide a refund or replacements and you will have to order again. 

During the summer months, humid weather can affect the toppers and make them more difficult to remove, we provide instructions on how to overcome this with your topper and in the FAQ section on the website. Once the topper is dry it will release from the backing. This is not a fault with the product, it can happen with any fondant products. We do not refund due to difficulty with removing the topper during humid conditions.

Caketop.ie does reserve the right to cancel orders at their discretion due to what they deem to be extenuating circumstances. If this occurs, you will immediately be notified and provided with a full refund

Refunds

Refunds are only provided if caketop.ie has made an error on your order, which was entirely our wrongdoing.
